WebSumo provides web hosting, domain registration, and related services (“Services”) to customers worldwide.

Account Registration and Security

Account Creation

  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • One person or entity may not maintain multiple accounts

Account Responsibility

You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account, including actions by authorized users.

Acceptable Use Policy

Prohibited Activities

You may not use our Services for:

  • Illegal activities or content that violates applicable laws
  • Spam, phishing, or unsolicited bulk email
  • Malware, viruses, or malicious code distribution
  • Copyright or trademark infringement
  • Adult content (pornography, escort services, etc.)
  • Hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory content
  • Resource abuse that affects server performance
  • Cryptocurrency mining or similar resource-intensive activities
  • Proxy or VPN services (unless specifically authorized)
  • File sharing or storage of copyrighted material without permission

Resource Usage

  • Shared hosting accounts are subject to reasonable resource limits
  • Excessive resource usage may result in account suspension or upgrade requirements
  • We reserve the right to monitor resource usage and take appropriate action

Payment Terms

Billing and Payment

  • All services are billed in advance according to your chosen billing cycle
  • Payment is due immediately upon invoice generation
  • We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as specified
  • Failed payments may result in service suspension
  • You are responsible for all taxes related to your services

Refund Policy

No refunds will be issued for any reason. Please refer to our separate Refund Policy for complete details.

Domain Registration Terms

Domain Ownership

  • You represent that you have the right to register and use the requested domain
  • Domain registration is subject to registry policies and ICANN requirements
  • We act as a registrar and must comply with applicable domain registration rules
  • Domain transfers and modifications may be subject to registry restrictions

WHOIS Information

  • You must provide accurate contact information for domain registration
  • This information may be publicly displayed in WHOIS databases
  • You must update this information when changes occur
  • False or inaccurate information may result in domain suspension or cancellation

Service Level and Availability

Uptime

  • We strive to maintain high service availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime
  • Planned maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
  • We are not liable for downtime due to circumstances beyond our control

Support

  • Technical support is provided via email at sales@websumo.io
  • Support is provided during business hours with reasonable response times
  • Emergency support may be available for critical issues

Intellectual Property

Your Content

  • You retain ownership of content you upload to our services
  • You grant us a license to host, store, and deliver your content
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to all content you upload

Our Property

  • WebSumo trademarks, logos, and proprietary technology remain our property
  • You may not use our intellectual property without written permission

Privacy and Data Protection

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • WebSumo’s total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for services in the 12 months preceding the claim

  • We do not warrant that services will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • You use our services at your own risk

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold WebSumo harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of our services
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Content you upload or transmit through our services
  • Your violation of any third-party rights

Service Suspension and Termination

Suspension Rights

We may suspend your services immediately for:

  • Violation of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
  • Non-payment of fees
  • Legal requirements or court orders
  • Activities that threaten the security or stability of our systems

Termination

  • Either party may terminate services with appropriate notice
  • We may terminate services immediately for material breaches
  • Upon termination, you must remove all content and data
  • Termination does not relieve you of payment obligations

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through:

  • Email notification to your account email address
  • Prominent notice on our website
  • Updates to the “Last Updated” date

Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

Dispute Resolution

  • Disputes should first be addressed through direct communication
  • If resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be subject to binding arbitration
  • You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and WebSumo regarding our services.
